Job description
- Manage and supervise daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness and guest satisfaction
- Monitor room cleanliness, public areas, and laundry operations according to hotel standards
- Train, coach, and evaluate housekeeping staff performance
- Prepare work schedules and manage manpower effectively
- Ensure proper usage and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations
- Handle guest complaints and special requests professionally
- Maintain inventory control and housekeeping budget efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and company policies
- Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in housekeeping operations, including supervisory or managerial experience
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning standards, and sanitation regulations
- Experience in hotel operations is highly preferred
- Good leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel management systems
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
