Job description
- Doing Legal Research and Legal Review on any respective Law or gaining any related information from respective Instancy in order to produce a sufficient Legal Advice in solving any legal matters at Company.
- Drafting and reviewing agreements and contracts related to Business & Operation matters in Company.
- Manage the licensing processes required by companies such as company deeds, SIUP, gas trading permits, gas transportation permits, and others;
- Liaising with SKK Migas, BPH Migas or any other relevant regulators regarding licensing and compliance issues for different aspects of company business.
- Provide assistance to the business in relation to existing and new business initiatives; work closely with other teams and contribute legal input to ensure smooth implementation of business initiatives and policies.
- Monitor and report any regulatory update on a regular basis;
- Establish and maintain a good relationship with relevant government authorities
- Work closely and coordinate with the business development team and external legal counsel appointed by EHK as required
- Manage the administration and storage of the Company's legal documents;
Job requirements
- Holds a law degree from a reputable university, a master degree would be preferable.
- at least 7 years of relevant experience, of which the last 3 years in reputable law firms followed by in-house experience
- Experience in Oil & Gas/Energy Business would be preferable
- Solid knowledge of all relevant local laws and regulations and proven experience liaising with the relevant local regulatory bodies required.
- Has been exposed to engagement with working level of the relevant government officials.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills, able to prioritize effectively without compromising on quality.
- Self-motivated, with an ability to work under pressure and to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic corporate environment.
- Adaptable and commercially minded team player with collegial personality
- Fluent in English, both oral and writing.
